Rika had a buddy pass for an airline and just showed up mid-week. She had to travel on weekdays so her visit was quick (Weds - Fri.). So she wandered the city while I worked and we met up every night for dinner and some play. We discovered some new places and had some laughs (just some of the services I provide my visitors). A few times she said she really liked Seattle - I think her favorite part was all the smooth suit and tie guys she saw in my building during work time. I tried to convince her to move here of course - I think she would really consider it if the timing were right.
As Rika left Friday morning, Ruth arrived on Friday night - like ships passing in the night. So Ruth got here last night (Friday) about 12:30 and in true Ruth/Patty form, we went to bed at 4:30AM. Now it's Saturday morning, about 10AM. Ruth is sleeping and I am blogging. We are waiting for Ashley Furniture to deliver my couch this morning. Then we are going rug shopping with Melody and possibly cruising thru Ikea for nick-knacks and what nots. I'm sure we will cause some trouble somewhere. No promises but stay tuned...
Allow me to use this oppurtunity to advertise... I have been in Seattle for 3 weeks and I have had 4 visitors. This OBVIOUSLY means people love coming to visit..so you should too! 4 people can't be wrong!
We're going to visit you sometime! When we have a screaming baby to annoy you with. :-)
