Solstice Parade

One of the things I looked forward to the most with moving to Seattle was going to the Fremont Summer Solstice Parade.  This famous parade boasts displays of local artists, praising the arrival of summer - Oh and naked bikers.

So I attended the parade this past weekend.  I arrived late so I missed the naked bikers but ran into a few of them walking thru the crowds after.  Just walk'n around, butt naked, with nothing on but body paint.  Who are these people!!??  Here is a pic of the bikers from this year published online...

So the rest of the parade was filled with hippies, tranies, superheros, dragons made of recyclables, flowers on stilts...and of course my favorite showing of the day was Boobie Vador and her Tighty Whitey Storm Troopers... Good Times.
